Stevia- The Sweet Solution to Your Sugar Reduction Needs

A herb native to South Africa, the leaves of Stevia contain a cl- of over 40 natural compounds called ‘Steviol Glycosides’, each with varying sweetening properties. These glycosides, when extracted from the plant and refined for consumption, provide a low-calorie subs-ute for common cane sugar. The Joint Experts Committee on Food Additives at the World Health Organisation has studied natural stevia extract and approved them as safe for human intake.
